Dan Canham is an award-winning choreographer, theatre and filmmaker with over 21 years in the industry.
Having performed for 10 years with some of the UK and Ireland’s most celebrated theatre and dance companies, in 2011 he created his own company Still House, alongside working as a collaborator on a range of projects with other people.
Key projects include Brighter Still (Closing event for UK City of Culture Bradford 2025 - Co-director and Choreographer), Public Record (Public Acts -National Theatre - co-director and choreographer), The Odyssey: Episode 5 - The Underworld (Public Acts -National Theatre - movement director), Jane Eyre (National Theatre/Bristol Old Vic - movement director), A Monster Calls (Old Vic/Bristol Old Vic - movement director) and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (Leeds Playhouse/Eliot Harper - movement director).
Past Still House productions include 30 Cecil Street, Ours Was the Fen Country, Of Riders & Running Horses and SESSION with touring that includes Australia, China, Canada and throughout Europe.
Dan is a prolific filmmaker - making heart-full works ranging from documentaries to dance films and promos.
He also regularly leads workshops and classes in theatre and dance for dance organisations, Universities, theatres and festivals across the world.
